Privacy Policy

Overview

Acuraly (“we”, “us”) provides an Elemental Life Map — a reflective reading generated from your birth details using traditional elemental patterns. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We collect only what the service needs, we do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We request only basic profile scopes; we never see your Google password and cannot access your Gmail, contacts, or files.

Birth details. To generate a reading you provide a birth date, time, gender at birth, and optionally a birthplace. If you are signed in, these details and the generated reading are saved to your account so you can revisit them; if you are not signed in, they are processed to produce the reading and are not stored.

Payment information. Purchases are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number; we keep only a record of the transaction (what was purchased, when, and the Stripe transaction reference) and your resulting credit balance.

Technical data. Like most websites we process IP addresses and basic request logs to operate the service, secure accounts, and prevent abuse.

How We Use Information

We use your information to calculate your chart and generate your reading, to operate your account and sessions, to process purchases and maintain your credit balance, to respond to support requests, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations. Where the GDPR applies, we process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the readings and account you request) and, for security logging, on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating the service safely.

Your reading is generated for you and shown to you. We do not use your birth details to build advertising profiles, we do not attempt to infer or record religious or philosophical beliefs, and we do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.

Service Providers

We share data with a small number of providers, only as needed to run the service:

Language-model provider. The narrative text of your reading is composed with the help of a third-party large-language-model API. The chart patterns derived from your birth details (and the birth details themselves where needed) are sent to this provider to generate the text. We do not permit the provider to use this data for advertising.

OpenStreetMap Nominatim. If you enter a birthplace, the place name is sent to the Nominatim geocoding service to find its coordinates so we can apply a true-solar-time correction. Only the place text is sent — never your name, email, or full birth details.

Stripe processes payments. Cloudflare provides networking and security in front of our servers. Our application and database run on servers we operate.

Data Retention

Saved readings and account data are kept until you delete them or delete your account. Anonymous readings are not stored. Transaction records are retained as required for accounting and tax purposes. Routine server logs are kept for a short operational window and then discarded.

Your Rights and Choices

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. Deletion is immediate and removes your profile, sessions, sign-in links, and all saved readings from our database.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, or restrict the processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, or to ask questions about this policy, contact us at the email below and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in. We do not use analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies, which is why you do not see a cookie consent banner on this site. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first.

Children

Acuraly is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

California Residents

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA/CPRA, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. The categories we collect and our purposes are described above; you may exercise access and deletion rights as described in “Your Rights and Choices”.

International Transfers

Our servers and providers may be located outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as our providers’ standard contractual clauses when data crosses borders.
